Pre GED Tabe is a very basic pre GED course with only two main subjects (Maths and English) and 2 introductory subjects (Science and Social Studies) It is aimed at students who do not yet have a Grade 10, and who need to brush up on ground level work. Students aged 15 can do this short course before starting the Pass GED Program if they wish to.
The Pre GED / TABE course cover four main subject areas:
Reasoning Through Language Arts (RLA): This section assesses reading and writing skills, including the ability to analyze written text, interpret information, and write clearly.
Mathematical Reasoning: This section evaluates mathematical knowledge and problem-solving skills. Topics include algebra, geometry, data analysis, and number operations.
Science: The science test measures understanding of scientific concepts, principles, and reasoning skills. It covers areas such as physical science, life science, and Earth and space science.
Social Studies: This section tests knowledge of history, geography, civics and government, and economics.
